Card 1 today is an icecream card…
So I stamped and colored the images with copic markers. The stamp set was part of Simon Says Stamp card kit for August 2014. It has 4 different types of cold treats and some matching sentiments. I used the You’re so cool sentiment from the same set and happy birthdays is a part of Stampin’ Up!’s teeny tiny wishes stamp set (retired).
I used this multicolor pattern paper to keep with the fun look of the cards…. like sprinkles 😉 The die cuts are from Lawn Fawn… stitched rectangles and stitched circle dies. The Window and label punch are from Stampin’ Up!
Card 2 is little gifts with a long birthday wish 😀
The presents are from Simon Says Stamp’s Party Animal set. I stamped, colored and die cut the images (although should have reversed the process…die cut first, then stamp and color). The images are popped on black squares.
Again I used the multi color pattern paper to create a fun background. The multi-colors with black actually make the colors pop and give a very bright look to the card.
The sentiment is actually a border die by Lawn Fawn… I cut it out using white cardstock mounted on fun foam for dimension and finally mounted on black strip of cardstock. To me it looks like it is written using white frosting 😉
These children cards are turning out to be fun to make!! All the colors and images make for bright and fun card.
This is all for today…6 done, 6 more to go. Will be back with next set of cards as soon I am done with them.
Until next time,
