Flower Birthday

So after being lazy most of the day (Thank you rains) I decided to get cracking at this card that came quickly thanks to the inspiration picture at Pinterest Inspired Challenge.

Such a nice picture… pastel colors, flowers, the gold!! So I decided to make a Birthday card so I could also enter this card for challenge at Seize The Birthday, where the current challenge is “Anything Goes”.

So here is my creation:

413I used Simon Says Stamp’s Favorite Flowers stamp set to create the background flowers with Stampin’ Up! So Saffron, Soft Sky, Perfect Plum, and Blushing Bride inks. This stamp set has solid and coordinating outline image of the flowers. So I used Brilliance Galaxy Gold to stamp the outline and also slid it through the edge of the white cardstock.

413aThe background is so pretty. So I did not want to add a sentiment that would cover it… so SSS Happy Birthday die it is ๐Ÿ™‚ย  I cut 3 of each and layered them for 3-d effect.

413bLayered the front panel on burgandy cardstock, and white card base. Loved how it turned out….especially the pastel inks with gold.

This is all for now,

Until next time,

Happy Krafting

Cheers =)
